Shiso is a Japanese herb with a slightly bitter taste that is perfect for garnishing dishes like this salad.

Here’s what you need to make this recipe at home:

  • 1 head of Shiso
  • 2 Tablespoons of Sesame Oil
  • 3 Tsps of Soy Sauce Chili pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup of cashews
  • Snap peas
  • Mushrooms
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Scallions

To make this simple recipe, start by chopping up the mushrooms, scallions, and Shiso. Once you have chopped your produce, it’s time to sautee the mushrooms shiso and scallions in a stir fry pan with your olive oil, sesame oil, and soy sauce. Finally, add the cashews and you’re ready to eat!
