In this thyme recipe, Taisiya shows you how to make a delicious thyme and mushroom pasta using freshly harvested thyme from our Pure Greens Container Farms!
Here’s what you’ll need to make this at home:
- Your choice of Pasta (Tai used Spinach Fettucine)
- Olive Oil
- Heavy Cream
- Salt and Pepper
- Parmesan Cheese
To start, grab a medium post and begin boiling water for the pasta. Once the water is at a boil, place your choice of pasta into the boiling water, making sure to follow the packaging directions.
While the pasta is cooking, begin to cut the mushrooms into small chunks. Next, grab a medium sauce pan on and begin to brown the mushrooms with olive oil.
Make sure you are checking and stirring your pasta, seasoning to fit your preferences. Next, add the heavy cream and thyme to the pan with the mushrooms.
Once your pasta has finished cooking, turn off the heat and remove the pot. Drain the pasta. Continue cooking the mushrooms, cream, and thyme.
When the mushrooms have finished, remove them from the heat. Place the cooked pasta in a bowl and add the sauce to the pasta.
Add additional thyme, salt and pepper, and parmesan cheese to taste.
