Commercial Container
Pure Greens Container near a commercial building.
Container Farm
We use modified shipping containers as protective shells to house our hydroponic systems. This is not only more secure than a traditional farm, but also makes the growing climate easier to precisely control.
Pure Greens Container in Courtyard
A container farm isn’t just an efficient food factory. It can be used by educational institutions to teach STEM skills to the next generation.
Container Farm in Grocery Store
Place container farms wherever there are power and water connections. That means you can harvest produce and sell it on site, ensuring peak freshness.
Container Farm on a College Campus
Container farms can be placed on-site anywhere with electrical and water hookups, allowing growers to locate their growing operations close to consumers. This means consumers can get higher-quality produce and less energy needs to be expended to deliver it.
Pure Greens Container Farm (NFT)
Our container farm can be outfitted with different hydroponic systems, depending on your preferences. This unit uses Nutrient Film Technique, a type of system that works best for bulk commercial production.
Our Founders
Pure Greens was started by Taisiya and Damon Jacobson in 2015 after seeing the climate-related challenges that farmers face.
Programmable Logic Controller
You can easily control our container farms with the programmable logic controller. Here, you have all the information you need to make decisions, right at your fingertips.
Sage
Sage is an herb that requires a lot of light, and it grows quickly, making it ideal for hydroponic cultivation. Sage can be harvested up to three times each growing season.
Basil Harvest
Harvesting your crops is easy in a Pure Greens Container Farm. If desired, we can add a separate packaging space to your farm, ensuring that your crops maintain maximum freshness.
Soyu Long Cucumber
These cucumbers have a sweet flavor that makes them desired by grocers and consumers alike.
Basil
Basil is a leafy green that grows well in hydroponics. Basil is popular, well valued by consumers, and will be ready for harvest in just 28 days in a hydroponic system.
Breen Lettuce
Breen Lettuce, a bronze-red variety of romaine lettuce rarely becomes oversized, meaning this plant grows well in NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) systems.
Jalapeño Pepper
Jalapeños grow fast in hydroponic systems, typically maturing anywhere from 2 months to 3 ½ months after transplanting.
Breen Lettuce
This bronze-colored lettuce works great inside container farms because it grows well in a compact area, averaging 8” in height.
Breen Lettuce 4
Breen is interesting because of its so-called “cut-and-come-again harvest” properties. This means it can be harvested and continue growing for additional harvests in the future.
Butterhead Lettuce
Butterhead lettuce has a smooth, buttery taste. Because it can bolt in hot temperatures, growing butterhead lettuce in a climate-controlled container farm is ideal.
Wasabina Mustard Greens
Wasabina is a green that grows beautifully frilly leaves that have a mild sweet spice taste and can be added to dishes or used as garnish in high-end restaurants.
Arugula
Also known as Rocket, this plant is a peppery microgreen desired by Mediterranean, Italian and French restaurants for garnishes and salads.
Fodder
Fodder is a type of grass that’s cultivated to provide livestock with certified organic, nutritious food, year-round.
Tropicana Lettuce
Tropicana lettuce is perfect for compact hydroponic systems like Nutrient Film Technique (NFT). It grows densely, allowing for space between plants in the beginning stages of development.
Soyu Long Cucumber
This cucumber variety tastes mild and sweet. Its usage in soups, salads and Chinese cuisine means that this crop has a large potential customer base.
Soyu Long Cucumber
Soyu Long Cucumber are a Chinese variety of cucumber that produces long, curvaceous fruit.
Avalanche Pea
Avalanche peas develop long tendrils that can be harvested and sold to restaurants for garnishes.
Purple Lettuce
This lettuce grows well inside container farms, just like other varieties of leafy greens, growing rapidly and developing healthy, vibrantly-colored leaves that give the plant its name.
Butterhead Lettuce
Butterhead lettuce gets its name from its signature taste: buttery and sweet!
Avalanche Pea
These avalanche peas are just starting to develop. They are a type of high-yielding snow pea and are resilient against chilling temperatures.
Breen Lettuce
Breen lettuce can bolt if grown in higher temperatures. The climate-controlled space of a container farm can help optimize Breen lettuce growth.
